Photo Story Inspiration…You Can Be a Storyteller too!
Episode #19 of Photos with Sherita is about telling your story and capturing the stories of your loved ones. In this episode, we ask each other 3 questions (about an event/occasion) to help inspire you to share your photo story. Here are 3 steps to get started:
1-Ask a specific question – refer to the resources below for inspiration
2-Record the story (pen and paper or recording app) and if you have a photo to match great, but it is not necessary

Photo Organizing Resources:
Visit our Favorite Tools Page, for quick links to our favorite pro tools that we use. Below are some of the resources we mention in this episode:
- Sherra’s favorite book to help ensure your precious legacy is shared: To Our Children’s Children: Preserving Family Histories for Generations to Come by Bob Greene
- Rita has used (and loves) StoryWorth to tell her parent’s story. Each week they send you questions, you write a story (or record it) and then at the end of a year the stories are bound into a beautiful keepsake book. Photos can be added to match the questions that have been answered!
